Coming events: We are doing animal wellness clinics in Potrerillos and Caldera on Saturday, August 6, 2011. We will be administering the 5 in 1 vaccine that most puppies get in their first few months and that most animals here rarely if ever get which prevents Distemper, Parvo and three other illnesses. Because of a very generous donation by Bobby and Helen Anderson from their recent garage sale, we are able to purchase and administer these vaccines with the help of 4 volunteer vet students from Canada and Dr. Sandy Ullstrup. For more information or to book an animal, call Judy Odom at 6415-4018 in Caldera and Marion Torgany at 6454-8522 in Potrerillos.
And....Our Venta de Patio Sale....Sunday, September 4, 2011. This is a very big fundraiser for us and extremely popular with our Panamanian neighbors. Please clean your closets, your bodegas and your spare rooms. We really need your stuff. If plants are your passion, they are ours as well...we want your seedlings, your seeds, your plants. If you don't have extra "stuff" and you don't have plants then surely you can cook or buy food for us to cook. Our bake sale would make the food channel swoon!. We want bakers, we want donations(cash and wine, beer or?). Alicia McGuigan will pick up anything, 6780-3565; Jane Vasarhelyi accepts everything 6671-4468, Karen Pitt wants your baked goodies 6745-5401, Betsy Waddington, 6831-9643 will pick up your plants. Thanks so much for your support. Together we are making a huge difference. Over 3000 animals sterilized in 6 years!
