Come learn about this very current environmental threat to our community's Natural resources. Ezequiel Miranda will address the facts surrounding this environmental controversy.  Mr. Miranda, a longtime Boquete resident, is President of the Association for the Conservation of the Biosphere, an organization which has taken on several important environmental protection projects in the past. The nutshell explanation of what is currently happening at the hotsprings is that the latest owner is diverting the hotspring water to a new location where he plans to build a resort hotel. It is important that people learn the facts about this situation. You can make donations of food or money (or both) at the Tuesday meeting. For more information, see Irene at the meeting.                      Used Book Sales Well over 350 used books DVDs and CDs for sale and U.S. stamps for your mail. All proceeds from the book sales are equally divided between Handicap Foundation of Boquete, Buenos Vecinos and Carolain Alvarez Concepcion who is blind.  Now also selling Milagros Pinzon's book about Boquete for $5.00 and Stanley Heckadon-Noreno's book "Naturalists on the Isthmus of Panama" for $15.00. Donations of books, Cds, DVDs, magazines and jigsaw puzzles will be gratefully received.
