Hot Line Resident's Database Update

Reply To: residents@altoalcrimen.org

Greetings,

Thanks to the generous support of the Boquete community, we have been able to upgrade the Fundacion Alto al Crimen Boquete Hot Line service by computerizing the Resident's Database and providing it with its own email address for additions, modifications and inquiries. The new address is: residents@altoalcrimen.org

If you are new to the community, the Resident's Database contains information about your location. In return, you are issued a unique number, so that in the case of an emergency, you can simply call the Hot Line and say "This is number XXXX, we have an emergency and need help immediately (whatever it might be)." The Hot Line operator will then look up your location information and call the police/fire/emergency service and tell them in Spanish exactly where you live. If they have a problem finding you, they will call the Hot Line back and the operator will in turn call you at the phone number listed in the Database.

The bi-lingual Hot Line operator is well known to the emergency services and with the Resident's Database at hand, emergency response may be much improved, compared with calling during a panic situation and trying to convey your location to a non-English speaker who might not even be in the correct agency to respond.

Information in the database is accessible only to the Hot Line operator and the administration of Fundacion Alto al Crimen.

To add yourself to the Database, please provide the following information:

(You can just hit Reply (or Forward) to this message, change the email address to residents@altoalcrimen.org and type in your information)

NAME (All names that apply):

EMAIL ADDRESS:

PHONE(s):

CONCISE DIRECTIONS TO LOCATE YOUR HOME (in English):
(Include directions from a main road or major landmark and any identifying aspects of your particular house that would be helpful in identifying it, especially at night)

Within a few days, you will receive an email from the Hot Line with your new personal ID number. We suggest that your post this number in an easy to find place, (on your home phone, as an AAA ID# entry in your cell phone etc.)

Thanks for your ongoing support,

Fundacion Alto al Crimen
