Laura Moller, the client representative of Playa Palenque, is inviting everyone to visit this new project on Saturday, August 13. They will begin shuttle service starting at 9am from the dock at Boca Chica to Playa Palenque and they will ferry people back and forth until around 3pm. People are welcome to come and go throughout the day as their schedule requires. They will be serving beer and soft drinks and snacks. If you are interested in staying the full day, you are welcome to bring along a packed lunch. There are some picnic tables and chairs but you are welcome to bring a beach blanket.
Your visit will be as active as you like. It is about a 45 minute boat ride to Playa Palenque and once you arrive, you can relax on the beach or in their shaded jungle areas. You can take short walks through the jungle and bird watch. There are no mandatory activities.
The marina has not been constructed so people will be required to wade through ankle deep water from the boat to the shore.
