Amigos de Animales had another stellar clinic! On Sunday July 28, we spayed or neutered another 134 animals: 73 dogs and 61 cats. The cats are coming out of the bodegas and showing up at the clinics! It was a hissing, clawing, biting, running cat day, but we caught them all with the help of the quick reactions of our volunteers, vets, and collectors. Quite an experience for everyone!
There are so many animals that need homes, kittens, puppies, adult dogs and cats. Please check our website and click on the "adoption" button to see if you can help these animals live out their lives in comfort with a "true" family. Carole Newsome and Judy Odom as well as others spend a great deal of time and their own money to rehabilitate animals, to keep them safe and to help them find a family.
Our next clinic is August 25 at the current Animales office (we are actively looking for land to build our own facility! help if you can!). As we are limited by the number of animals we can accommodate in our current facility, please call Yasmin at 6563-8686 or email her at boquetanimales@gmail.com to book early.
Our annual Venta de Patio is coming up on September 8. This event is highly anticipated by locals and gringos alike and we don't want to disappoint.
