[News Boquete] New Alto al Crimen Residents Only Notification Service

As part of our ongoing Fundacion Alto al Crimen service improvements, we are today announcing the introduction of a new community-wide Residents Only email notification service. This non-public service will allow us to send very specific security information directly to anyone with a Resident ID. This will enable us to enhance security without broadcasting tactics and strategy, or importantly, provide information we might have about current criminal activity in specific areas and how to avoid becoming a victim.

We know that all of you who are current Resident ID holders are indeed who you say you are. However, from now on, to prevent criminals from impersonating Boqute residents, we will be validating every new Resident ID application either by phone/email, and/or referral.

Of course we will continue to provide public notices of a general nature as we do now.

Residents Only email from Alto al Crimen is one more step in our ongoing process of increasing the effectiveness of crime prevention in Boquete. Soon we will be announcing a new funding mechanism for Alto al Crimen and possible new services for the community. As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us here. Thank you for your support.

The Alto al Crimen Team

If you currently have a resident ID # you are automatically subscribed to the new service. Of course if you desire to NOT RECEIVE these infrequent emails, please let us know and we will remove you from the list.
