[News Boquete] Music and luncheon, this Saturday, on the Other Side

DEEP FOREST TAVERN

will have live music starting at Noon

Need an excuse to venture to the Other Side? Here it is!

The Deep Forest Tavern is a cozy, friendly pub with great food where every Saturday afternoon Gringos come to play music from our youth.

This Saturday there is a special luncheon starting at 12 O'Clock Noon. The live music by Peter & Louise, Bob 'B-Side' Dee, and a guest performer or two, will start early as well, with quieter songs for the first sets for those who enjoy LUNCH at lunch time, so you can enjoy your meal.  Of course, the specials will be served all afternoon.

Miguel is making his fabulous Lasagnas, both meet and vegetable ($5.50), served with a garden salad and optional garlic bread.  He is also making a batch of Irish Stew ($3.50), as he is warming up for March 17th. To help Miguel to maintain his excellent service and to assure that there is plenty for everyone, we suggest advance orders by email (avocadohill@yahoo.com) or phone (6583-1209) by Friday afternoon, when we will pass on the total number of dishes requested to Miguel. This is really a huge help to Miguel, so put your orders in!

Good food, good service and good times with music and comradery will be the order of the day, and the games (chess, Uno, dominos, etc.) will continue. You may also contact us or Miguel (6732-2822), if you need directions to Deep Forest Tavern in Paso Acho (via Cerro Punta just up from Volcan). His regular menu is also available. Plan to come and enjoy the food, the music, and to share in the good time that will permeate the day.
