[News Boquete] Coffee Wood Sculptures and more at the Tuesday Market

Always new designs and unique artistic pieces, ranging from bowls & plates, candle stands, bottle stoppers and coffee scoops to turnings and sculptures made from the bases of old coffee trees.  The wood is from old coffee trees taken out of production on the Peterson family's Hacienda Esmeralda, home of Boquete's prize winning Geisha coffee.

The below picture is a work titled "La Roca Abrazada" (The Embraced Rock).  It contains an embedded stone that the coffee tree grew around.  It was turned on the lathe, and then hand shaped and sanded.  Finish is beeswax for a soft, natural look.  This is an absolutely unique and beautiful art piece.   8" wide x 7"high. $120.00.

Also available:   Bowls, plates, candle stands, gold coffee scoops, and more.  Visit my table on the back terrace Tuesday mornings.
