[News Boquete] Thank You to Bid 4 Boquete from the Biblioteca de Boquete

The Fundación Biblioteca de Boquete board members, staff, and the members of Amigos de la Biblioteca would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Bid 4 Boquete, their hard working volunteers, and the citizens of Boquete for their continued support of our community library.

We would particularly like to recognize and thank Penny Barrett, Bonnie Williams, and Anayansi Menendez, who spend hundreds of hours each year overseeing the Bid 4 Boquete fundraising activities. We also appreciate our own library volunteers who assisted the Bid 4 Boquete organization with its many successful events.

The previous donations from Bid 4 Boquete have allowed the library to create a more welcoming children's area. The board has prepared an annual report showing the impact that we are making on the community. You may download the full report in Spanish and/or English from our web page. Or you can visit the library and see the printed copy made available to the public.

This year's donation will allow us to continue adding materials to the library collection and to increase our educational outreach to the community by offering additional free bilingual classes and programs in language, art, music,  mathematics, and storytelling.

We thank you for the generous donation you have made to the library.
