To Penny Barrett, Anayansi Menendez and Bonnie Williams, Tres Mujeres Extraordinaire: we stand in awe and amazement at your dedication and drive.  Day after day, week after week, month after month you three women work tirelessly to make Boquete a better place to live. We thank you. We honor you.

To each and every man, woman, and child who volunteered your time, talent, resources to make Bid4Boquete the success it is. You collected and sorted, you labelled and displayed, you baked and cooked. We thank you. We honor you.

To each of you in the community who came, who bid, who bought, who visited with friends new and old.  Without your participation in the day there would not have been any funds to grant. We thank you. We honor you.

Boquete Knitters and Quilters will use our mini-grant towards the purchase of yarn, batting and fabric with which to continue to create soft, warm, beautiful handmade items for donation to the clinics in the district as well as to the Obaldia Hospital in David: baby blankets, sweaters, quilts, caps and booties, as well as Chemo Caps for the Pediatric Cancer Patients.
