[News Boquete] Thank you Bid 4 Boquete

The Boquete Hospice & Health Foundation officers, board members, and volunteers would very much like to thank Bid 4 Boquete for the mini-grant donation for a second year.    This years donation will allow us to purchase more equipment for our Medical Equipment Loan Program. With this program we have provided free medical equipment to people, expats as well as Panamanians, with medical needs in the Boquete community. During the past year, 99 people benefited from our equipment loan program using 143 pieces of equipment. Twenty-four local Panamanians benefited from 31 pieces of equipment. Panamanians also used 4 of our 7 hospital beds, 7 walkers, 6 bedside commodes, and 2 oxygen concentrators.  Over 250 hours were volunteered maintaining and loaning out equipment.     We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Penny Barrett, Bonnie Williams, and Anayansi Menendez, who spend hundreds of hours each year overseeing the Bid 4 Boquete fundraising activities. We share similar missions: to help the handicapped, elderly and infirm and to promote health and education.    Thank you for supporting our organization and also making the Boquete community a much better place for all of us.
