[News Boquete] Dark No More Thanks to City View Electric

Thank You City View Electric

Thank you City View Electric (CVE) for the donation of the 22 KW GENERAC generator that now provides backup power for the Boquete Bomberos and the Boquete Police.

CVE arrived in Panama in February, 2015 with a container that included four pallets of materials and tools for projects that they completed in San Felix with Padre Adonai, in David at the Don Bosco School, and in Potrerillos at the Arturo Miro School.

They donated the 40 foot container to Fundacion Amigos de Boquete (Amigos) and installed lights and electricity to create a metals workshop at Arturo Miro to complement the wood workshop that Amigos helped to fund, together with the Rotary Club of David, the Lions Club of David, and Olmedo Miro.

When CVE left, they donated a wonderful assortment of tools to Amigos for use in the wood and metals workshops at Arturo Miro.

After a lot of hard work, with the support of the Alcalde, the Bomberos, the Police, Victor Fuentes, Kevin (Sparky) Fisher, and a number of others, the Generator Project was completed about two weeks ago.

CVE has visited Panama on a number of occasions, and on one of their trips they donated the 50 foot hook and ladder (with snorkel), that you can see at the at the Bomberos near Hotel Nacional.

Our heartfelt thanks to CVE for all that they have done to benefit Chiriqui.
