To the next gathering of Boquete Artworks on Friday, August 21st...details below...

Since Co-founding Boquete Artworks almost 5 years ago, it's been my joy to serve as both Secretary and President as well as to serve our art community, participate in Artworks gatherings, teach Zentangle and play in art with so many wonderful & creative artists in Boquete!

This summer, Artworks has taken a break from our usual every Third Friday of the Month Gatherings to re-create itself and to forge a new direction.

As in all things, change has come into my life and it will take me back to the states to start a new chapter with a  special man in a new home.

I have recently resigned as President of Artworks and the current board, Sharon Ball, Johnnie Fernandez and Mary Beth White (who will share roles) have been hard at work planning some very interesting, valuable and fun sessions for you.  

Your past support and participation in Artworks Gatherings, Shows, Workshops and Art Programs for the children of Boquete has been what has allowed Artworks to thrive and we all hope you will continue and possibly even expand that support & participation as Artworks takes on a new direction.

You will receive a survey soon that will be used to chart this new direction...we all want your input so that Artworks can remain relevant and meet both your needs and the needs of the community.

So, as my last official act, I ask that you kindly take a few moments to fill out the survey and send it back so that your input, suggestions, desires and needs can all be part of the upcoming gatherings and Artworks projects.  I hope you will support the board with your input, as well as consider joining the board to help guide the future of Artworks to keep it alive and serving our community.

The next Artworks gathering will be held on the 3rd floor of the library, on Friday, August 21st from 10:30 am until approximately Noon...

Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, you are invited to be there as the program will be of interest to anyone with art appreciation and a great kick off for the "newest version" of Boquete Artworks!
