Tuesday, Sept 1– Dra. Luz Joly, professor at UNACHI in David. Luz is an anthropologist and her interests are Petroglyhs and the indigenous of Panama among many more. She has written several books on these subjects. She will speak on the Ngabe Bugle culture and history. Gustavo Gallardo the ngabe founder of the ngabe-bugle dance group 15 years ago will accompany Luz along with 3 other ngabe dancers to demonstrate the jegui dance which tells the story of a famous ngabe myth.
Tuesday, Sept 8– Magda Crespo will talk about the new insurance policy BUPA is offering (free admission).
Tuesday, Sept 15 – Dr. Sleepwell (aka Mark Heyer) will provide information and a "mini-workshop" highlighting some strategies for home protection and thinking about security.
Tuesday, Sept 22 – Manuel Granados Miranda, Gerente General, Medical Service Panama, S.A. will present the new changes of the benefits of M.S. Panama Health Insurance (commonly called Hospital Chiriqui Insurance) to the Boquete Community (Free admission).
