Book Talk: Legends of Chiriqui

Story Time

Join the library for our new weekly story time for children on Mondays and Tuesdays in the library. Children will get to hear a selection of their favorite stories in both English and Spanish.

Photo Exposition: "A Flower on Your Path"
Date: May 26th, 2012
Time: 3:00 PM

Join us on May 26th at 3:00 PM to kick off a new digital photo exposition in the library. The exposition, which is titled, "A Flower on Your Path", will feature digital photographs of Chiriqui flowers displayed on large, high definition televisions.

                                                                    

Gallery Opening: Vivianne Lachaud

Local artist, Vivianne Lachaud, will headline the Boquete Library's June art gallery. Opening on June, 2nd at 5 PM, Lachaud's gallery will feature dozens of new and old paintings in her unique style. Don't miss it!

                                                   

Book Talk: Cary Trantham, The Bermuda Triangle: Pathway to Atlantis

Author Cary Trantham will discuss her latest book, The Bermuda Triangle: Pathway to Atlantis with Boquete residents on June, 9th. Her book 

Cary Gordon Trantham was born in Oklahoma City, raised in the Puget Sound and migrated to Key West and from there to the country of Panama. She practiced as a Certified Public Accountant and then decided to return to college for a Master of Arts with a Major in Earth Literacy. Cary published an article of an experience she had flying herself through the Bermuda Triangle. She has been on documentaries on the Bermuda Triangle with the SyFy channel, the Discovery channel, the Learning channel and National Geographic. Her experience and the education of our environmental issues was a basis for writing her book "The Bermuda Triangle: Pathway to Atlantis. www.BermudaTriangleSurvivor.com
