Boquete Artworks would like to invite everyone to our May gathering this Friday (May 18th) at 10:30AM. It will be in our space by Casa Bajareque and Bajareque Wood (across from the green CETFATI building at the top of the hill).
What is on tap for this month!
- Sally Foulke will "clear the confusion" for all of us with a discussion of the different types of paintbrushes and their uses.
- We will also have a "Brush Exchange". Bring any brushes you wish to part with. This is a great opportunity to exchange for brushes that you may actually use!
- Sharon Ball will bring a few of her pieces for an artist critique.
- The suggested theme for the Artist Trading Card (ATC) Exchange this month is "Emotion". Put your creative spirit to work and join in the fun of trading these small pieces of art with your fellow artists!
If anyone would like to bring some of their work to share in a future critique, please let us know!
As usual, we will have a short break after the gathering followed by a business meeting for anyone who would like to attend. Currently on the business meeting agenda:
- Artworks sponsored art show
- Future workshops and gathering presentations
- Bid4Boquete involvement
