[News Boquete] Thanks from Amigos de Animales

Bid4Boquete recently awarded $15,000 each to the four charities who participated in the recent event:

Amigos de Animales, Buenos Vecinos, the Handicap Foundation, and the Rotary Club.  Thanks to the combined efforts of these organizations as well as many other volunteers from the community, Bid4Boquete had its best year ever, the proceeds of which will ensure those 4 charities can continue their work in providing support to the community in which we live. 

For Animales, we can continue our mission to spay/neuter the animals of our community which greatly contributes to the overall health and livability of Boquete.

The funds raised also allow B4B to provide mini grants to some of the smaller but no less worthy organizations in town.  Bid4Boquete has become a part of the fabric of Boquete, an event that is enjoyed and looked forward to every year.

 

None of this would be possible without the hard work, dedication, and leadership of the Tres Mujeres: Penny Barrett, Bonnie Williams, and Anayansi Menendez.  Please join us and representatives of the other charities before the next Tuesday March 16 Meeting at the BCP as we thank the community for its support, the volunteers for all their efforts, and give some much deserved recognition to the Tres Mujeres.
