The quotes above were taken from Benjamin Franklin 's "Poor Richards Almanac". Those of you who have already donated $30 to "ReAL Boquete" in order to get one of our valuable coupon books, appear to agree with him.  As for those of you who have not yet acquired one, I assume that it is due to our failure to communicate.  You may not know of their existence or their value.

 

The purpose of  this note, and more to come, will be to communicate my experience using this book.

 

To date, I have used 4 of the 78 coupons. 

One at Las Ruinas to get 2 of their outstanding margaritas for the price of one, a savings of $3.75.  

One for a free lunch at Rancho de Caldera, a savings of $9.  And by the way, if you haven't been to Rancho de Caldera, I suggest you go soon.  By my count, the ambiance and vistas are unprecedented in the Boquete area, and the food is excellent.  

And 2 at the Baru Restaurant.  One for a free beer and the other for a free personal pizza.  Very Tasty.  A combined savings of $6.50.

 

Net, since acquiring my coupon book, I have enjoyed 3 of Boquete's best dining experiences and saved a total of $19.25 in the process. 

 

 If you would like to acquire one of our coupon books, and start your own list of enjoyable experiences, they are available at our recycling center in Boquete, and we plan to have a table at the Tuesday market starting in January.  And remember, 100% of the proceeds go to support our recycling program.
