A memorial service for Papa Ricco will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday January 21st 2012. The service  will take place at Dr. Allens mission “Nueva Esperanza†in Volancito. The mission is located about 2 ½ KM from the main highway in Boquete on the left side of the road as you are heading up the mountain. On the left side of the road 200yards just before the mission is a little Catholic Church to use as a marker.  Please be prompt as we expect many to come and show their respects for Papa Ricco.

Papa Ricco touched the hearts of many here in Boquete as well in the many different cities that he lived. He was a kind, loving, caring man who was never at a loss for words to tell you how he felt. We know from his stories that he gave to many who needed help and feed those who were hungry here as well as in Key West Florida. The stories that he shared about his life were like no others you will ever hear, to say that he lived a very exciting and adventurous life barely scratches the surface. All of us will miss him dearly and he will live in our memories for years to come.
