Tuesday, January 31 -- "Pick Up Day" at the BCP Market starting at 9 AM. Bring your venta de patio (rummage sale) donations and put them in Alicia's truck which will be parked in (or close to) the loading zone for the BCP Market. We also need donations of paper plates, cups, plastic ware, hangers, etc.
Sunday, February 5 -- Boutique Sale of our better clothing items. We've culled the best from the donations and offer a fine selection of name brand clothing in good condition. Mostly women's but some men's. We have dresses, pant suits, slacks, blouses, blazers, leather items, purses, shoes, etc. Starting at 1 PM at the offices of Amigos de Boquete around the corner from Mike's Global Grill (formerly Tammy's).
Saturday, February 11 -- The Wine Tasting and Live Auction are sold out but you can attend the Boquete ArtWorks Art and Jewelry Show in the Lounge Area of the BCP Theater from 10 until 5 PM. Fine jewelry and fine art pieces mostly from local artisans but some from artists in Panama City and elsewhere in the world. Some of the jewelry is antique. You can see what we have by clicking on Art & Jewelry Photo Album. All items are for sale and all proceeds go to Bid 4 Boquete.
Sunday, February 12 -- This is the biggest day in our year long fund raising efforts. The doors to the Arco Iris Room (Boquete Fairgrounds) open at Noon and lunch will be waiting for you. There will be a huge rush to inspect the thousands of items in the Venta de Patio Sale and then you can settle back with some great food, a soda or a local cerveza, vino or Abuelo. After lunch, take your time to browse the 300+ items up for bids in the silent auction. Some great buys and a wonderful way to support local charities. Buy some raffle tickets ($2 each, 3 for $5) and you may win a Samsung Mini-Refrigerator. You don't even have to be present to win this--we'll call you. Great to put on your patio to keep your beverages cold. There's also the 50/50 raffle where you can actually win $$$$. We also have lots of crafts made by the local indigenous folks, goodies baked by the local bakers (both home and professional), dozens of types of plants to help you landscape, etc. Bring your kids, grand kids, neighbor's kids for the games, face painting, photos, etc. This will be a fun day for everyone!
