Dear English speakers in Boquete and beyond,

OSOP, the organization in Volcan that monitors Volcan Baru invites you to the 2nd lecture in a six-part series presented by one of our visiting scientists. The first lecture was lively and engaging and we're looking forward to the 2nd talk.

This lecture is titled: Is Earthquake Prediction Possible and Feasible?

Dr. Peter Bormann is retired from GFZ, the German equivalent of the USGS. He has been publishing scholarly works since 1986 and still lectures in Europe and Asia. He is the editor of the standard manual used by seismic observatories all over the world.
