Boquete Knit 'n' Knatter, a charity knitting group, meets every Friday afternoon from 1PM to about 3:30PM at the Fundacion pro Integracion (The Handicap Foundation) in Alto Boquete. The building is on the same side of the Boquete-David Road as SuperCentro Ivan, and is about 2.5KM closer to David. Using donated yarn, we create sweaters, caps, booties and blankets which we donate to the health department and various clinics in the area. Those facilities then give the items to their Ngabe-Bugle clients. We welcome both knitters and crocheters - we're bi-craftual!
