Missing Cat and Trap Cages

During the February Amigos de Animales Spay/Neuter Clinic, a lovely gray and white cat escaped his cage, and ran away.  Volunteers have been trying to find this kitty for the past 3 weeks.  He has been seen several times in the neighborhood near Mike's Global Grill.   Thursday afternoon we set multiple trap cages in a vacant field where he was seen to be spending the day.  When we checked the traps the next day (Friday),  it appeared we had managed to catch two cats, but  the doors to the cages had been removed, and the cats released.  We reset the traps, and again cats were trapped, but someone let them go.  This time removing the trap doors, and taking the doors with them.

Now we are not only looking for the lost kitty, but also looking for the trap doors.  These trap cages are quite expensive, and must be imported from the USA.  Without the doors the cages are useless.

My guess is someone heard the trapped cats crying, and released them believing they were helping the cats.  If you have the doors, or know where we might find them, please contact me.  So many people are working hard every day trying to find this lost kitty and get him back to his family.  Using the trap cages is our best hope for reuniting him with the people who care most for him.

Thank you.
