[News Boquete] Applications being accepted to become a major B4B beneficiary

Every year Bid 4 Boquete works in conjunction with its major beneficiaries. Those beneficiaries for the 2014 event are Buenos Vecinos de Boquete and Amigos de Animales. Those two groups will receive the biggest bite out of the funding apple, with some of the remaining money being apportioned among other charitable and civic organizations that apply for mini grants. Major beneficiaries each have a liaison person who sits on our Foundation Council as a full voting member on all issues, including choosing beneficiaries and distributing funds.

We are now accepting applications for major beneficiaries for our next round of fund raising which will culminate in 2015.
An applicant must be a recognized and established charitable or civic organization operating in the Boquete area. It must have sufficient membership to chair committees, to solicit cash and goods/services for our auctions, and to work at our events. Some of its membership must be able to speak English.

The group(s) we select to be major beneficiaries must be willing to donate considerable resources to the Bid 4 Boquete effort throughout the upcoming months prior to the 2015 event.

All applications must be received by email to bid4boquete@gmail.com by April 7 and must be followed by an oral presentation at a later date.
