Photo and Art Exhibit Opening Reception - Friday, June 6, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Opening Reception in the 3rd Floor Gallery of the Biblioteca de Boquete. The exhibition features photographs by Bernie Verhoeven, Boquete PhotoGrafia Club Photographer of the Month.
International Guitar Concert at the Biblioteca de Boquete – Sunday June 15, 2014, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The Guitar Association of Panamá (Asociación Guitarrística De Panamá - Aguipan) and the Boquete Library once again present a world-class guitar concert at the Biblioteca de Boquete featuring two prize-winning guitarists who are in Panamá for the 11th Annual International Guitar Competition. This year's concert promises to be just as exciting and features another two talented young musicians who have both won many prizes in national and international competitions, John Marcel Williams from the USA and Oscar Somersalo from Finland. Tickets may be purchased for $15.00 (B/.15.00) beginning approximately Friday, May 30, 2014 at Mail Boxes Etc. and Biblioteca de Boquete in Boquete or Casa Cultural La Guaricha and Culturama in David. Proceeds benefit the library and the Guitar Association of Panamá (Asociación Guitarrística De Panamá - Aguipan).
Story Time (Cuentacuentos), Chess, Math, and English lessons and other special programs continue as scheduled.
