[News Boquete] Tuesday Talk - Alto al Crimen will be doing the Tuesday Talk, 3 June 2014

For several years Alto al Crimen (AAC) has been active in educating people about reducing crime in Boquete. Alto al Crimen also operates an effective bilingual substitute for the non existent 911 or emergency service number in Boquete. Over the years the board members and volunteers of Alto al Crimen have done more than just provide the 911 hotline. We want to do more for Boquete if Boquete wants the additional services. Alto al Crimen did an email solicitation for donations in May. Some A few people voiced concern that so much money would be donated that AAC should justify the request. The entire board of AAC will be at the Tuesday Talk on June 3 to answer those questions posed on BoqueteNing.com, and share our financial statements and discuss what we do, and what we want to do and how the funding needs to work. It will be the decision of the Boquete community---with your donations---if you wish Alto al Crimen to continue and if you want us to expand local services. This is your opportunity to become educated and participate in making make those decisions. Without adequate local support Alto al Crimen will go the way of the Dodo bird. Alto al Crimen will be doing the Tuesday Talk, 3 June 2014
