Dear Folks,

As I have many sewing machines in my classroom and have brought an equal number here for my students who wanted them, I am planning to pay the way for a trained sewing machine technician to come to Panama for a week or more to repair,clean and adjust sewing machines, especially electronic ones.  I have used these folks for years in the US and they do impeccable work.

They repair all brands of machines, mechanical and electronic,  and are asking for a list of machines they might be working on while they are here.

So if you want your machine cleaned and adjusted or it needs repair, send me your name and contact info, along with the make, model number and where the machine is located, i.e. Volcan, Boquete, Dolega, David, the city, etc.  We will make up a spreadsheet and send it on to them.  

If your machine is functioning poorly or not at all, list the problems along with the other information so they can anticipate what they need to bring.  I have a feeling this will be a more than one trip project but I am tired of trying to solve these problems without some expert advice.

My plan, so far, is to have the repair clinic in Volcan for a week or 10 days, maybe longer.  We will set up a schedule and you will deliver or send your machine via Fletes Chevales and we will have a fixed price for cleaning and adjustment.    This money will have to be in my bank account prior to the arrival of these guys or in my hands.  I am thinking $40.00 for cleaning and adjustment.(This amount to be confirmed at later date)  Repairs to be quoted and more details to follow as the list is prepared and we decide on dates of arrival etc.
