JUNGLA THIS SATURDAY 31st
LIVE MUSIC
The New Boqats will be performing live at The Jungla in Palmira this Saturday, May 31st from 3pm to 6pm. As always, Edgar Vargas will be performing on guitar. As you may have heard, Edgar won the recent guitar competition in Panama City. He was selected as the best guitar player among 18 of the best guitarists in Panama. Come hear him perform, along with Rigoberto Coba, who will be joining us on sax as we play all your favorite Rock and Blues tunes from the 50's and 60's. Rigoberto is the band leader of the Big Band which was the final act at the Boquete Jazz and Blues Festival. Gary Whiting will be on bass and vocals, Chris Hagen on drums, and once again, Julian Oz is making his way back from Panama City to sing and play guitar. Come out and enjoy wonderfully prepared food by Chef Robinson, check out the interesting animals, hear "the other side" of Rigoberto as he plays Rock and Blues, watch Oz´s amazing stage performance, and be amazed by award winning Edgar Vargas on guitar. Remember, this is a Saturday show at 3pm, not Sunday, which is the typical band day at The Jungla.
Directions to The Jungla: From central Boquete, head towards David. 2 miles out of town, at Plaza San Francisco, take a right and head towards Palmira. Go 2 miles to center of Palmira, continue straight 1 block. The Jungla is on the left.
