The New Boqats will be performing live at The Jungla in Palmira this Sunday, May 11th at 2pm. Once again, Rigoberto Coba will be joining us on sax as we play all your favorite Rock and Blues tunes from the 50's and 60's. Rigoberto is the band leader of the Big Band which was the final act at the Boquete Jazz and Blues Festival. In addition to his incredible sax playing, we will be featuring the very special guitar work of Edgar Vargas. Gary Whiting will be on bass and vocals, Chris Hagen on drums, and once again, Julian Oz is making his way back from Panama City to sing and play guitar. Come out and enjoy wonderfully prepared food by Chef Robinson, check out the interesting animals, hear "the other side" of Rigoberto as he plays Rock and Blues, watch Oz´s amazing stage performance, and be amazed by Edgar´s incredible guitar work. Directions to The Jungla: From central Boquete, head towards David. 2 miles out of town, at Plaza San Francisco, take a right and head towards Palmira. Go 2 miles to center of Palmira, continue straight 1 block. The Jungla is on the left.
