[Noticias] Culinary Events Now Easy to Book

Thursday, April 28 - 11:00am - "All About French Bread" presented by artisan baker, Mort Rabkin.   This is a class to practice basic bread-making skills, from measuring and kneading to baking in Mort's clay oven.  Learn to vary your ingredients, and to create "artsy" breads using one classic recipe.   The $25 fee includes hands-on class, recipe booklet, lunch with wine, and a loaf of French bread to take home.  The class will be held at Mort's home in Boquete, near the town center.  Book your tickets at www.boquetegourmet.com.

Thursday, May 12, beginning at 5pm - "Panamanian Beef: From Tough to Tender", presented by Professional Chef Juan Linares.  If you'd like to learn how to take ordinary, tough cuts of local beef, and turn them into tender and delicious dishes, you won't want to miss this very special class.  You'll also be using fruits and vegetables from our local market to make side dishes to accompany any meal.
