To our community,
Buenos Vecinos de Boquete, will be conducting a Food Drive in front of Romero's on Friday, April 15 from 9AM to 7PM. Please stop by and donate cash, or purchase some of the suggested non-perishable food items available in the store. Your generosity helps our charity now feed over 100 truly needy members of our Boquete community, and is a significant part of our annual budget.
Our last Food Drive in September demonstrated the remarkable spirit of our little mountain town. Patrons dining in local restaurants gave us cash when we reached out to them, and even one of the young indigenous "bag boys" at Romero's saw and understood what we were doing...and donated his tip money from that day!
So, please come by Romero's on Friday, April 15 and help Buenos Vecinos de Boquete address the issue of hunger in our community. It does exist, and is growing. Thank you.
