Saturday  MONDAY January 10 12^TH  from 2-4pm

BCP Theater

 

BCP is bringing back the popular, musical comedy production of "Postcards from Paradise".  This is a lively and fun musical based in Bocas del Toro

·       Run date is April 2015

·       Directed by Marilyn Jenkins

·       Musical Direction by Rhody Edwards

·       We are holding open auditions on Saturday MONDAY  January 10 12^TH  from 2-4pm

·       We need a cast of 8 and a chorus of 4. All cast members speak and sing.  The chorus sits as 'customers at the bar' and harmonizes with the cast.

 

CAST OF CHARACTERS

 

MIGUEL CALDERA:        Latin entertainer and owner of the "Last Banana"

RITA ROMANO:                Psychologist/family counselor, cocktail hostess, Miguel's live-in girl friend

JESS PALMER:                  Tourist, Vietnam vet

NANCY PALMER:             Jess's wife

MANGO MURPHY:           Desk clerk

MARY IMMACULATE:    Cleaner, helps RITA serve cocktails

CARMAN DOILY:              Bartender

THE CAPTAIN:                   Old sailor (no spoken lines)

Chorus:                                  4 people (If possible: 1 tenor, 1 alto, 1 baritone, 1 bass)
