For the past several months there have been emails circulating that want you to think they are coming from News.Boquete and these folks even sign them PB or Penny B.
Please note that these emails are coming from news.boquete.updates (and not news.boquete).
People who have asked to be taken off their list have been deluged with threatening and pornographic emails.
Do your best to ensure they do not get your email address.
Most of their emails have been stupid and harmless but now they are asking for money using the Bid 4 Boquete charity name. They are asking for you to buy a $15 phone card and send them the number and Bid 4 Boquete will get $45 from the phone company.
This is not true. What is true is that they will get the codes to put more minutes on their smart phones which they are using from jail to send out these emails.
All legitimate News.Boquete emails do not say "updates" as part of their address and all have the green box below as identification.
The best thing you can do if you receive these emails is to report them to Gmail. Eventually they will loose that address and will have to establish another one.
Thanks for your cooperation. This is very aggravating. I have been physically threatened by these people. They also go under the name "Lawyers Referral Service".
