I want to thank all of you that purchased your Sombra Malla magnetic screen door from us at the Tuesday Market. That was our test market to see if there was a need for our product here in Panama. Let me tell you that there is a huge need. In ten hours of selling our Sombra Malla product we sold 97 units. It has taken us almost one year of working very closely with the manufacturer to improve the quality we wanted to sell in retail stores.
· Our final retail model of the Sombra Malla includes the original polyester material, but we now offer an additional model with a very strong nylon material for added strength.
· We have added more powerful magnets, from top to bottom to help with the stronger breezes here in Boquete.
· We also added 5 times the weights sewn into the bottom to help with the breezes.
· The final product has the Velcro sewn completely onto the screen from top to bottom.
· The glue for the Velcro that attaches to the doorframe is also stronger, helping with the moisture and heat.
The Sombra Malla is now the finest magnetic screen door in the world, heads above the rest.
Our first inventory delivery with the final retail product will arrive in Panama in August and will immediately be delivered to Price Smart and Novey.
Price Smart will be selling the Sombra Malla screen doors at what they are calling their David Road Show for four days only, at the wholesale price of $30.00. After the Road Show the Sombra Malla will be sold on a permanent basis in all of their stores starting in September.
