Local realist artist, Steve Hammond, will share simple techniques to manage your digital photographs for use as a basis for paintings. Steve will share an easy to do method to accurately transfer your small drawing or photograph to a larger (or smaller) canvas. This is a much simpler method than doing grid squares!. Only two measurements ever required. He'll show you how to adapt your drawing to the dimensions of the canvass and how to cheat to make things fit. Handouts will be provided.... you won't have to take notes.
We will also have our usual 'Look What I Found' section so bring in any interesting art links you may have discovered.
