Pilates Basics- A very slow-moving class for the absolute beginner, people working with movement limitations, those new to exercise, or for students who haven't exercised in quite awhile.To wake up the body and start moving! Classes emphasize precision of movement and body/mind awareness- teaching the basic movements & principles of Pilates.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, 11- 12 p.m., $10 per class. Class size limited to six students to guarantee lots of attention!
Pilates Fit- A moderate-paced class with a mix of challenging and relaxing sequences. For the student wanting a fun, absorbing and total body/mind work-out!
Mondays and Thursdays, 8:30- 9:45 a.m., Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30- 10;45 a.m.. And...Starting January 13th, Tuesdays, 8:30- 9:45 a.m.
$7 a class. Or purchase a Pilates Gold card for $60, for unlimited classes for one month from the first class taken. Class size limited to 9 students.
All Classes held in the incomparably beautiful Pilates/Yoga Studio at the Haven! All class materials provided. Have a yoga mat? Bring it to be guaranteed 2 mats for when we go down to the floor. And please know- One need not be a member of the Haven to attend classes or partake of Spa services.
