[News Boquete] The Moringa Mission has traveled to Boquete

This Tuesday at the market, come meet 2 young men, Erik and Enrique, who are on a mission - to introduce the world, and Latin America in particular to Moringa Oleifera AKA "The Miracle Tree" or "The Tree of Life". Traveling with very little money and a backpack full of information and seeds, they are spreading the word about Moringa and encouraging people to grow and harvest it because of the amazing nutritional properties and health benefits it provides. Starting in Mexico, they have traveled their way through Central America and are here in Boquete for a short time.

Besides free seeds and information, Moringa tincture and dried leaves will be available for sale produced from local trees grown organically at Finca Feliz in Volcancito, Boquete.

A sign-up sheet will be available Tuesday for a free informational seminar at the library later this week to answer your questions and provide guidance on how to grow Moringa in the higher elevations of Boquete as it does best in the heat of the lower elevations of Panama where large Moringa Farms are being established. I started this project over 3 years ago and it's been challenging but rewarding.

The medicinal and nutritional benefits are many.

The agricultural benefits include nutrition for your plants as well as insecticide and anti-fungal properties. A complete organic product for your garden. I am preparing a compost and Moringa tea that will be available soon for your garden use.
