Rosa is 41 years old and lives with her four children, Jeremia, Liset, Cristina and Kelinet who range in ages from five to eleven.  Rosa's husband and the childrens' father abandoned them about a year ago. The family's living conditions are very poor.  They have no electricity nor running water; their water source is a stream which runs behind the house. The one-room shack consists of a zinc board exterior, no interior walls and a dirt floor.  Rosa attempts to a make a meager income selling Avon products and cleaning homes, but it's difficult because the children are so young.  The family was so excited and happy when Buenos Vecinos arrived with food.  They put on their best clothes for the picture, and wanted to proudly include their school book bags in the photo.
