[News Boquete] Nana's Naughty Knickers is looking for a male actor, 20's to early 40's,

The July BCP Production of Nana's Naughty Knickers is looking for a male, 20's to early 40's, to play the role of Tom.  He's an NYPD officer, new on the force.  All the women on the stage love him!

 

We've gathered together a fun cast for this hilarious comedy. TOM O’GRADY is our missing piece of the puzzle.  Do you want to try your hand at comedy with a great ensemble cast?  Come play with us! 

 

Summary of the show:

Bridget and her Grandmother are about to become roommates. However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to stay with her favorite Nana in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she’ll never forget. It seems her sweet Grandma is running an illegal boutique from her apartment, selling hand-made naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five borough area!

 

Will Bridget be able to handle all the excitement? Will her Nana get arrested - or worse! - evicted?

Description of the cast:

SYLVIA CHARLES Played by Shirley Maffitt – In her early eighties, living like she’s in her early twenties. The mastermind behind Saucy Slips, Etc., and the proud tenant of a rent controlled apartment.

VERA WALTERS Played by Louise Orr – Sylvia’s aged accomplice: equipped with two hearing aids and a collapsible walker.

BRIDGET CHARLES Played by Melissa Caughey – Sylvia’s unsuspecting, 20-30-something, soon-to-be-law-student granddaughter.

TOM O’GRADY – The newest cop on the force, happily assigned the beat where Sylvia’s apartment is.

GIL SCHMIDT Played by Ron AnKeney – The landlord, overly eager to rid himself of his aged tenants. 60s.

HEATHER VAN PREE Played by Vicki Whittle – Employee of Saucy Lips, looking for better opportunities, a modeling career, or just her boxes.

CLAIR Played by Phyllis McNaughton – The big client. Mid 60s.

VOICE Played by Dave Ross – The man at the front desk. Slightly bored and always sarcastic. Can double as one of the UPS men.

UPS WOMAN Played by McKayla Chase – Cute and a little lonely.
