[News Boquete] Art Cafe Presents a Taste of Greece

For a scrumptious Mediterranean meal Art Cafe, in a collaboration with Cajun Eric (two guys and a cooler), are offering the Boquete Community a rich assortment of traditional Greek cuisines. In our efforts to bring you different international cuisines from around the world, we will be serving you some of our favorites-enter into a five course meal of Greek favorites.

Upon Arrival

Make yourself comfortable to a candle lit lunch or dinner and enjoy a stack of onion pita bread and our homemade roasted red pepper and roasted garlic humus while we serve you a drink of your choice. The cost of drinks are not included in the cost of this fine meal.

Appetizer:

Dive into an all time favorite of Greece- Augolemono Soup- A zesty lemon –egg soup spiced and thickened into a delightful taste treat. Sure to light up your palate.

Entrées:

Spanakopita- An authentic rich spinach pie stuffed with onions, select cheeses and garden fresh herbs that are all enfolded by crispy, flaky phyllo dough. Baked to perfection and sure to satisfy.

Greek Couscous- a special blend of Mediterranean couscous, sundried tomatoes, kalamate olives, garbanzo beans, white wine and spices infused with crumbled feta cheese.

Garides Kabob- shish kabob with skewed shrimp, crimini mushrooms, zucchini squash, red and yellow bell peppers, and onions. Drizzled in a special blend of olive oil, wine and herbs and perfectly grilled. Sure to melt in your mouth

Moussaka-A Greek specialty of sliced eggplant, ground beef, onions, chopped garlic, cinnamon, nutmeg, and assorted garden fresh herbs infused with red wine and parmesan cheese. Topped with our special bechamel sauce that saturates this dish. A golden delight.

Dessert

Baklava-A delicate treat of layered buttered phyllo interspersed with a mixture if pistachios, almond and walnuts. Baked and drizzled with a delicious syrup of honey, rose water, cinnamon, and lemon zest. Yummy!

Price- $21.00

We will be serving this ethnic specialty all day beginning at 12:30 on Friday September th , followed by a seating at 3:00, 5:30, and 8:00. This rich meal is highly anticipated in the community so we are cooking enough to serve you all the best meal for the most affordable price. Come hungry. For this meal reserve you and your parties table early, especially if you have a large group that wants to sit together. We will need an exact head count by September 4th in order to estimate our food preparations.
