[News Boquete] What's going on at Boquete Canyon Village?

Just over a year ago a small group of experienced developers and businessmen from Panama City took a risk and purchased a residential community here in Boquete previously known as Montanas de Caldera.

 

Suffering from over two years of neglect and abandonment, their first order of business was getting the project back into shape.  This proved to be a huge task.  However, after months of effort and a significant financial investment the development is back on its feet and looking good.

 

The new owners have rebranded the development and have changed the name to Boquete Canyon Village.  Their vision is simple – create Boquete’s finest residential community with the amenities people want at prices that are the most competitive in the area.

 

We have custom building sites now available starting at $37.50 per square meter.  A 1,500 square meter lot (16,000+ sq ft) is just $56,250.  If you’ve done any research for building sites in master planned communities in Boquete you’ll know that this is less than half of what you would pay elsewhere.

 

We are starting two new homes in September that are priced at $279,000.  These custom, single level homes have 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, 1,800 square feet of covered living space and are set on gorgeous 1,500 square meter lots.

 

A major remodel of the clubhouse is underway and includes a new lobby area, an Internet café, a fitness center and gym, a large outdoor swimming pool and meticulously landscaped grounds and social area.  Scheduled for completion in September, the clubhouse will be the community’s social center and meeting place.

 

Just 3.7km down the road to Caldera, the project is conveniently located between Boquete and David.  If you’re coming from Boquete, turn left at the Caldera Road intersection about 12 kilometers south of town.  If you’re coming from David, turn right at the Caldera intersection.
