COST: $1.00 to cover the room rental, collected at the door to the theater except for commercial meetings which have no cover charge. The vendor pays the BCP for the time and space.

Since this back for the first time in a year it will take some time to get it back with a calendar and information.
This Week: August 5: Techno Babel in plain English by Lee Zeltzer. How to use your computer and other devices like a Ipad, Kindle Fire or Android pad to Stream and downland audio, video and more. Lee will discuss the legal ways to get entertainment and show some tools that can be used if you want more.
What is MPG4, or a torrent, where can I find books for my Kindle and lots of other non geek tools..
August 12: Understanding Our Universe – From the Very Large to the Very Small"
A layman's discussion on how we came to understand our Universe by combining theories of the very large with theories of the very small.
Mike Peterson has a degree Mathematics and a degree in Information Technology. He is an amateur astronomer and has given talks on this and other astronomical subjects in the US to both grade schools and high schools.
August 19: Charlotte Lintz, New health information on chest CPR techniques, blood pressure guidelines and fall prevention
August 26: A presentation on nutrition, more details coming

Used Book Sales
Well over 350 used books DVDs and CDs for sale and U.S. stamps
for your mail. All proceeds from the book sales are equally divided between Handicap Foundation of Boquete and Carolina Alvarez Concepcion who is blind. Now also selling Milagros Pinzon's book about Boquete for $5.00 and Stanley Heckadon-Noreno's book "Naturalists on the Isthmus of Panama" for $15.00. Donations of books, Cds, DVDs, magazines and jigsaw puzzles will be gratefully received.
Amigos de Animales de Boquete (FADAB) provides spay/neuter clinics on the last Sunday of each month on the same street at Mike's Global Grill. In addition, FADAB provides feeding stations around town and supports the rescue and adoption efforts for area homeless dogs and cats. Donations for the large monthly expense of these projects are welcome and very much appreciated! See us at www.fadab.org. Click on the Adoptions button to find unconditional love.
