Today we gathered 279 3rd, 4th and 5th grade children from four schools surrounding Boquete and brought them to the El Cacho Gym for the largest Education is the Key event to date. We showed a power point presentation on animal care and safety, provided lunch and showed the children a demonstration of advanced dog obedience. It was a great success. The children had a great time. Hopefully we can continue this program for many years to come.

I want to thank everyone who helped out with this event. Rhody Edwards for the sound system, John Hampton for our projector screen, Beth Abrahams for photos, Sugar and Spice for providing "mini" hot dog buns and the Perros al Paso dog drill team who did an excellent new routine and all of the wonderful volunteers who gave of their time. Big thanks to Dallys Dennis. Because of her this event was even possible.
