After much waiting, debating, and speculating we finally hear from president Valrela about the regularización migratoria Crisol de Razas and here is what he said in an interview:
El presidente electo, Juan Carlos Varela, al ser consultado, el pasado jueves, durante una visita realizada al diario La Estrella de Panamá sobre si continuará los procesos de regularización migratoria en su gobierno dijo: 'Tocará seguirlos, pero hay que regularlos. Creo que habrá más regulaciones y una evaluación, pero tocará seguirlos. No puede quedar gente desatendida'.
Los procesos se realizan en apego al Decreto Ejecutivo No. 547 de 25 de julio de 2012, firmado por el presidente Ricardo Martinelli.
This basically translates to YES, they will continue and some regulations and evaluations will take place. They will be conducted in compliance with executive decree number 547 signed on July 25, 2012 by president
Ricardo Martinelli.
