Straightening out the rumors about the Bistro Boquete & Las Ruinas......

Hi All,

The Bistro opened today kind of silently and I was happy with the turnout and with the quality of the food and the plate presentations. I would like to thank you all for the wonderful comments! So the first rumor that is true is that I have taken over the Bistro. I promise you that I will make the Bistro one of Boquetes Best places to Eat, Drink and to just stop on by have a cup of Coffee and some great conversation.

Some of you have asked if Las Ruinas was going to close. That rumor is totally not true. We will continue to give you all of the Great food & Entertainment that you have grown accustomed to!

My staff has been ready for this adjustment for a long time and I will be going back & forth to keep both of these restaurants the best that the area has to offer.

We at Las Ruinas have plans to start building a NEW restaurant with all of the comforts that we now lack at the current location. We will have a great dining room with a fireplace, an outdoor bar area with another fireplace, a private dining room for your parties, new large up to date bathrooms and a great new kitchen, just to name a few.

I promise all of you that the quality of the food & service will be the best as well!

The Bistro will feature things like Real Buttermilk Pancakes & Waffles, Eggs & Omelets, Bacon, Country Sausage & Country Ham, Paninis, Lots of different and Delicious Burgers, Big plentiful Salads & Dinner Specials that will feature the freshest local ingredients in season. Things like Rubens are coming soon.

I will keep the menu fresh and new with the specials and will listen to all suggestions!
