Buenos Vecinos de Boquete update

A reminder to our generous community,

Buenos Vecinos de Boquete participated fully in the successful Bid 4 Boquete charity event this weekend, and our share of the proceeds will tremendously support our annual budget.  Thanks to all of you who volunteered your time, opened your wallets and attended the largest charity function in Boquete!

We assist the poor, the elderly, and the handicapped hidden neighbors among us with a monthly supplement of non-perishable food items. You can help us continue our work with your on-going financial assistance by sponsoring a family for a year ($360) or contributing any amount to help cover our food costs.  How to do so?  Just see Irene, The Book Lady, at the Tuesday Market!  We, and our clients (now numbering over 100), would be most grateful.

At the Tuesday Meeting today a number of volunteer committees made presentations.  At the conclusion, the most heard remark was "What an amazing, involved community this is!"
