More photos of volcanos in Central America - with the link

Reply To: Mark Heyer <markh@heyertech.com>

For those of you who attended the very interesting talk Tuesday by Professor Peter Bormann on the volcanos of Nicaragua and Central America, I thought you might enjoy some additional pictures from our recent car tour over Christmas to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala.

As Dr. Bormann described, the countryside and people are beautiful and you are never out of sight of a volcano.

Enjoy,
Mark Heyer

This is one of the volcanos ringing Antigua, Guatemala, where we resided for a month. Taken from our terrace. There were dozens of eruptions per day and at night, we could see the red fountain of lava and red hot rocks running down the sides of the volcano.
