Join the first-ever MARDI GRAS style Parade to kick-off the Boquete Jazz and Blues Festival! Creative costumes, masks, umbrellas in true NEW ORLEANS STYLE are encouraged. We'll have beads for everyone to toss, and if you want to borrow from the limited BCP theater costumes, come by on Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 10AM; returns will be on March 2 at 10AM. Better yet.... Join friends and pool your crazy costume stuff!
Face-painting will be available before noon on Parade Day at the BCP theater. Those driving the parade route in vehicles...please park before the Panamonte to avoid bottle-neck.
The Parade Band will meet us at Central Park at 1PM to kick-off the parade route up Central Avenue to the Panamonte; food and beverages will be available to purchase at The Panamonte. Join your friends and forward this e mail to community groups in which you are involved. Participate or observe! Gotta be there!
